In May 25th from the Ministry informed that, in order to adapt to the new normal development of iron and steel industry, strengthen energy-saving environmental constraints, to further improve things in the post industry management, promote the transformation and upgrading of industry, the Ministry of industry, before the "iron and steel industry norms conditions (2012 amendment)" was revised, and in the day before the official publication of the revised "the iron and steel industry norms conditions (2015 Amendment)" and "iron and steel industry standard enterprise management measures". The new version has been implemented since July 1, 2015.
The revised specification conditions, strict control of new steel production capacity, in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and other environmentally sensitive areas, the implementation of reduction replacement; no new independent ironmaking, steelmaking and hot rolling process of iron and steel enterprises; enterprises should be fully equipped with energy-saving emission reduction facilities.
In addition, the standard conditions also indicate that enterprises should be encouraged to integrate two modern integration technologies, such as modern communication and information technology, computer network technology, industry technology and intelligent control technology, to improve the level of enterprise intelligence.
